Ancient beings that dwell deep within the earth, these are directors of the elements & elementals that affect lunar cycles. They tend to be available for human contact on clear, cold early winter nights, when the stars are brightest & the moon is waxing.

The frost forming faeries are beginning to retreat, as spring quickly comes. The landscape is transforming from white to green.

Here, at dusk, as the temperature is dropping, faeries are busy designing frost crystals on a window into patterns of their own desire. At the same time, the faeries of the Nicotiana plant are guarding its flowers from the cold.

Horse, Elf and Thought Forms

Such communication happens through emotional & thought transference. Thoughts & emotions take on energetic form, often appearing as spheres made up of filaments of light.

first faery that encounters you, while walking through brush & brambles.
Others line up behind her, only to reveal themselves if she deems you worthy of trust. A gift or two raises you in her esteem. A gift may be of food, an object or appreciation for plants & creatures that live close to the forest floor.

Through the cold of winter, deep frost & blanketing of snow, Seed Keepers protect seeds, awaiting the warming of sun on soil. Like tiny dwarves, they wrap thin arms around each seed, holding them close to their hearts.

Hoar Frost Crystal Keeper

A hoarfrost crystal keeper monitors the shapes of frost as it forms. Although adept at shapeshifting & therefore at moving rapidly, you may see or otherwise sense a crystal keeper sitting in stillness, watching. He is really holding frost crystals in formation with his consciousness. As the temperature rises or drops, he shifts the crystalline structures of the frost accordingly.

Gwynfiirm, a horse's companion

Gwynfiirm is a dwarf , a being of the element earth. His name, as much as I can approximate, is in his words means " something old, something of the earth, something that stays the same, yet changes." Its spelling changes to Gwynmfirm. Go figure. He is the companion of Prince, a horse, who like Gwynfiirm, loves food, relaxing & resting. Both are smart & dislike excessive movement of any kind, conserving their energy for enjoyment of the physical world.

Gwynfiirm loves Prince's spots, a kind of camouflaging that reflects a dwarf's ability to be unseen.

Air Elementals & Wind Wisps

Air elementals are beings that, among other things, create the wind. Wind wisps can be glimpsed & felt as cold winds blow. Their forms can resemble icicles, sharp-edged , piercing, haughty & elegant. They are often accompanied by faeries that help arrange the placement of snowflakes & love watching them melt.

Fire Elementals

Gaze into a burning fire. With soft focus, yet looking closely, a fire elemental may become visible to a viewer with intentions of respect for the elemental . Seen in human- like form, they are elongated & move quickly. Sometimes they are heard through pops & crackles in a fire or seen as rapid bursts of light.

Snowflake Faeries

These beings do not have physical bodies, but take on appearances that humans can connect with,
a sort of visual window that is part form & part essence, ranging from vagueness to crystal clarity.

These images & words are based upon my experiences with these beings. Yours may be similar,
....or not!

In order to sense, communicate with & know such entities requires trust, mutual respect & suspension of disbelief.
